Thinking about a change . . . Like most of us out there the first thing we begin with is a new colour, cut or style. I’ve been browsing on the pages of Insta and blogs, noticing a trend. From creamy blonde with a pop of colour, pastels and even peachy or orange tones to warm up this winter season. Cool chocolate brown tones are also in for brunette hair.

Right now I’m feeling this vibe:

Think pink

Full fairy floss hair.

Light blonde with a hint of cotton candy pink.

Khloe killing it with the pastel pink.

Sooo, I recently went to the hair dressers for a baby trim. I went in with intentions of asking about colour recommendations for a future appointment . So I booked in for a follow up to get my hair done. I will post a pic when I have my new locks. I went on this site called Beautopia. They sell various salon quality products for retail purchase, i ordered the duo set shampoo + conditioner, in ultra rose.

The plan is to go balayage so once I have my hair coloured I’ll be using this combo to add some cute pink fairy floss tones 🍬🍬.

More images below relating to this product and colour theme. Taken form Instagram and hair dressing pages.

This was using the Muvo shampoo after a balayage from MJ studio. I really like how the pigments come through different depending on the colour of the hair.

A campaign of three different girls using this product and how the pink tones can vary depending on the hair colour.

Another brand I’ve come across, in salon only for professional use. The evo range. Different colour schemes depending on the client look they want to achieve. I found these three colours which are on trend at the moment. chocolate brown, lilac and peachy tones🍑🍑. You can always do a little research before choosing your salon to see which brands and product they use for your desired outcome.

A great product to use to avoid washing your hair too much and fading colour, dry shampoo. A real life saviour. I use one in between washes if I want to have fresh roots. Most sprays come out in a powder like form to absorb any excess oils.
