Whether it is nursing a hangover or resting from a long week of work/study. Whatever it might be, Sunday is the perfect opportunity to gather our thoughts. Plan and prepare for a new week ahead, organise ourself. Make a priority list of what is important and meaningful to you, mentally or written.
The end of week blues don’t have to be negative feelings of dreading a working day or busy schedule ahead, they can be a nice relaxing and restoration of the mind. My favourite way to end a week is with a nice warm chai latte. It literally makes me feel like a cuddly teddy bear 🐻🐻.

I like to try and end the week on a positive note. As we know that’s not always the case. However, with the practice of mindful thinking, and surrounding yourself with good people, or even taking time out from the hustle of life. Whatever that may mean to you, try and reset your mind.
A tip that helps me is reading poetry or even quotes that encourage positive thinking. Listening to my favourite artist, or watching my favourite show.

I love to follow influencers, public figures and authors with a purpose. Someone who is soul searching for depth, to grasp the meaning and beauty of life. This quote is one of my favourites from an author I follow on insta - Rupi Kuar. Her feminine flow of words and essence of nature. 🍊🍊
Another thing I like to do on a weekend is try to eat something that is nutrient rich. I am like most people love a cheat meal or few, but on days like this I have found options that have a sweet but nutritious filling taste. May also help cravings.

Taken from the pages of my book. protein balls make nice quick snacks. They are pretty easy to make you can buy them in a mixture ready to make, add honey 🍯, chia seed, coconut oil, a bit of water and roll them into shape. I keep them in the fridge and then leave them to set for an hour or more.

Book is called Women Health by Dr Libby, for the protein snack recipe.
Rest up lovelies and enjoy your evening.
